Conic Sections

        Eggs are a type of ellipse which can be identified through its oval shape. Eggs are observed everywhere we go! It not only can be classified as food but eggs can also be little babies that are waiting to hatch. 

       Eggs are significant when it comes to conic sections. Without the outer shell, the animals inside of eggs waiting to hatch out would be in danger. The shells' of the eggs we consume also protects the yolk and allows the convience for humans to just crack the shell and dump the inside into the pan. The shell is disposable and allows a safe transportation of what is on the inside. Eggs are significant because egg whites are the main source of protein. The shells of the eggs are naturally created like that, but had they not been, eggs may not be what they are today. Had eggs been any other shape, people could never know if the egg would even be able to be produced. In almost every baked food people eat, eggs are involved! Without eggs, humans would not have a variety of food choices to pick from. Not only are eggs important for cooking, but they are also important for agriculture and farming since they are used for fertilizing and to feed animals. They also are majorly significant when it comes to Biology in reproducing. Without the ellipse shape of an egg, the inside of the egg shell itself would not be protected in which could effect just about everything.
